Hannah Altman at Kniznick Gallery

We love seeing what our midwest nice artists are up to! We’re excited to share two amazing accomplishments by Hannah Altman ✨ Hannah is featured in our the divine exhibition.

Hannah will have a solo show As It Were, Suspended in Midair at the Kniznick Gallery at Brandeis University in Waltham, MA, with an opening reception February 13 from 5:30-7:30pm and an artist talk on March 20 at 6:30p.

Also, Hannah’s monograph We Will Return to You will be published in February by  Saint Lucy Books and designed by Luminosity Labs. Drawing from a breadth of Yiddish literature and Jewish texts, the book includes works made between 2020 - 2024 and considers how storytelling is translated and transformed through photographs by evoking the enigmatic, ritualistic, and multi-layered world of folklore.
